Our 2022 commitments

St Pierre Groupe has set an annual fundraising target of £10,000 for 2022, to help support local, national and international causes. Find out more details below of the organisations that St Pierre Groupe is currently working with.

Eat Well MCR

The charity provides chef-made meals to people sidelined by poverty across Greater Manchester. They partner with organisations to deliver up to 1,000 meals every week to people in the local community including families living in temporary accommodation, women taking refuge in sheltered accommodation, food banks looking after families and single parents in dire straits, and schools whose families are experiencing food poverty and inequality.

St Pierre Groupe is proud to have started working with Eat Well MCR in 2022 and we are looking forward to the many ways we can support the organisation in the months to come.

Food donations

St Pierre Groupe regularly makes food donations to charity partners including local food banks, The Message Community Grocery and Eat Well MCR.

The Christie

The charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. It is one of the largest hospital charities in the UK with 82p in every pound raised going directly to the patients of The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. The Christie charity exists to raise funds and receive donations for the benefit of the patients of The Christie so that they can be offered access to leading treatments, outstanding care and the opportunity for the best outcomes. The charity raises money for a range of vital projects and initiatives focusing on four main areas: research, care and treatment, education and extra patient services.

St Pierre Groupe is proud to have raised more than £7,000 within the last 12 months for The Christie.

Working Options in Education

The employability and life skills charity has been helping young people to aim high and fulfil their potential since 2010. Their Career Pathways programme is delivered free in state schools, colleges and online by industry volunteers and helps students aged 14-19 to identify and pursue their career options. Through practical help and advice, they build their skills, and become confident to face their future after education, with choices.

St Pierre Groupe is proud to have helped support young people get into the food and drink industry through fundraising and mentorship programs.

Fare Share

As the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations, Fare Share is an important organisation to the nation. They take good quality surplus food from across the food industry and get it to more than 10,500 frontline charities and community groups. The food is donated to causes such as school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters and community cafes.

St Pierre Groupe is committed to making significant bulk product donations to Fare Share throughout the year.

In 2022, St Pierre Groupe has made product donations to the Polish border with Ukraine, and organised several fundraising activities to support relief charities operating in Ukraine. We will be bringing you more on this fundraising activity soon.
